Turnkey Resellers acquired

Well, I guess it was on the cards for a while. Turnkey Resellers was just acquired by Digital Hosting Service LLC.

So does anyone know anything about Digital Hosting Service LLC or its CEO Thomas Smith ?

I googled "Digital Hosting Service LLC" and found nothing, but that was expected due to the words in their title being widely used. I was rather dissapointed to by the message the new president left, not only did it fail to explain what Digital Hosting Service LLC does(and I mean REALLY does), their website, or anything else about it, but it didnt cover various issues that have been taking place on and with turnkey.

Interesting...I had been wondering how long Turnkey would last judging by their announcements about dropping the accounts etc....

My name is Thomas, President of Digital Hosting Service LLC. My company has purchased Turnkey Resellers from Robert Saylor. I am writing this letter to introduce myself and reassure all the valued clients of Turnkey that the same level of service Robert has provided to you will continue through and beyond the final transition of the company to us. We are very pleased and excited that Robert will continue to be on board with Turnkey and in a new capacity to Digital Hosting Service as a consultant/management position to bring his talent and knowledge to our overall vision and growth for the company. Digital Hosting Service is a bundled services company devoted to web hosting, remote data and video backup and storage and wireless broadband solutions. We have a strong financial commitment to our business model and are poised to provide even greater service and support for our customers. We will be implementing new features and services to our hosting customers in the very near future such as 24/7 live technical support, marketing support and other added value services that can increase your bottom line profits. We are putting the final touches on our brand new network operations facility here in Reno Nevada, and have working agreements with additional NOC's around the country to provide redundancy to us. Our goal is to provide you with the best customer support, least down time combined with added value services to make all of our businesses grow together. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at the information below. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you.

Warm Regard's,
Thomas Smith
President
Digital Hosting Service

Robert Saylor's comments below:

Just a side note on this subject. As far as what "Robert" will be doing... I am not going anywhere. Tom will be the owner and I will be dealing mainly with Tom and the techs. This means new techs and customer/billing support will be coming online very soon. Tom will be taking the business to the next level making Turnkey a very large company. I do not want you the users to think I am turning my back on you. Currently, I am in the point in my life where this business has just overwelmed me and I need somebody like Tom and his team to keep it alive and take it to the next level.

What my job will be is fixing servers that are having issues, bringing new servers up, assistance in organizing a new network backup technology and general consultant work for Tom.

Gavin and Andrew both are advertising Firehousehost - but then Gavin seems to be critiquing Digital Hosting Services and Thomas is posting as Andrew.

Is anybody else as confused as I - or am I just too impatient to dive in further?

Hi Andrew,
That's great that business is going so well, especially, since when I just checked your site the pricing pages were blank and the woman on the front page has no head.

Turnkey Resellers acquired

I wish I had a site that didn't have pricing links that worked and I was still doing well!

Good luck with your site.

Id like to apologize for any confusion about my previous post. I was simply commenting on Turnkey's downtime before being acquired, and my expectations about this coming. I didn't mean to make Digital Hosting Services sound bad....and definetly am not critiquing them, since I haven't used them.

Just wanted to clear that up.

My general principle is that when one company buys out another, it is usually rough sledding for the users. Great promises are always made at the front end. I'm not making my predictions any more specific than that.
