Need help finding hosting!

Well, I haven't been to these boards in a while!

I guess I'm sorta a noob again. Anyway, I'm looking for advice on what some experienced members here would recommend on finding a highly reputable hosting company. I run a business, uptime is very important. Are web hosting directory/review sites any good?

I was trying to find a "Web hosting requests" forum on this board but didn't find one?! With all the forums they have, they couldn't make one for just requests? I think this place used to have it..

Coming to WHT just about an hour ago for the first time in a while, I was looking to find that one host who owns a pretty large company, is friendly and active on the board, and runs a real hosting biz (one which isn't by a single guy which will collapse in a matter of time). Filtering through the posts in the offers section seems like it may take a while.

Anyway - looking for a reseller account with at least 10-15GB quality bandwidth, and 1-2GB space. Fast servers would be AWESOME, I'm not on a very tight budget either.

Advice would be highly appreciated.

Regards,
Dan

This HONEST review of over 30 hosts may help you decide: http://www.teksalon.com/article3.html

As the author has personally used all of the companies listed, and is not getting an affiliate commission from any of them. Meaning that it’s NOT a snake oil ‘sucker directory’, in which companies are listed according to the amount of commission they pay.

Regards,
Gary
