Park domain = Google PR instantly falls off cliff?

On Feb 1, I won a snapnames auction for www.GoPink.com

GoPink.com (until I picked it up, this was the BMG Music Official Site for singer "Pink") showed up as Google PR6 with 450+ incoming links. So I bid accordingly and won. Again, that was Feb 1.

On Feb 3, I took control of the name and once again verified the PR info. It was still PR6 (both with and without www) with all the same incoming links.

I parked it on Sedo late on Feb 4. On the morning of Feb 5, I checked the PR info again. Somehow, it had suddenly dropped to PR3 and only 1 incoming link now shows.

Do you think google can somehow instantly sense when a page becomes a parking page on sedo or similar, and so they drop the PR and unindex all the links? The name was registered at NetSol and never even dropped. It still shows a creation date in 1999.

And more importantly, any advice to get all the links to the page re-indexed so I can get the PR back up there? Would making an info site with a forum help?

Any help or advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Eric

Google had a big update on Feb 2nd that really shook up the search engine results. Many webmasters are still in shock. It's likely just bad timing but any site that you buy with good PR will only retain that ranking temporarily until Google revisits and updates its database with the new site content.

I am suprised it kept the PR what so ever, usualy if the name is droped so is the PR, just be thankful you have any PR lol but how is the traffic? That is what I would be worried about. I could care less what my PR was even if my sales showed something half way decent!!
