My good ole Linksys is starting to give out on me (some nice random power downs). I loved my Linksys but it was a bit antisocial when it came to hosting games, and other things. I was hoping someone can point me to a less angry router

They are advance routers with tons of features that allow you to have complete control over your network.

i use a netgear router, been on 24/7 for 2 years and havent had a problem with it yet

I have a netgear rp614v2 at home, it's a steaming pile 'o crap. Don't know any other consumer grade products that are good. Just stay away from the rp614.
