What should you do in such case?

Hello,
What should you do If your card is issued in a different country than where you currently live. It also has a billing address of that different country.

What is your resolution for this?
Personally, I send today to 2CO Dept. to explain this. but how would they react in response of such thing?

1. Consider it fraud
2. Or accept it?

I'm sure they understand the nature of these problems, they happen.

So is that three different places? If so, these days - most companies would probably not accept it - or ask for a fax from you with a copy of the front of the card as well as a credit card authorization form

No Corey, only 2 countries. The first country is my location, and the second country is where my credit card is billed.

So?
Thanks for your reply.

It would more than likely depend on the situation. And the countries. This is the problem with some of the companies - they cannot take everything into consideration but everything has to be considered

My wife paid them $49 setup fee with Visa credit card and wanted to open personal account
They refuse her (as a fraud order)
She explain them that it is actually her address where she used to live before she get married, and that she call the bank and changed that info, but the bank need time to implement that and to send her new card.
They still refuse to open account, but they refund $49 to her account.

Yes
Even when she get new credit card with new address.
Few months later she try to signup again, but when they refuse you once - you can not signup any more with that name (probably they keep all information in database)

Rule that really doesn't make sense. It should be a bit flexible, a lot of people have their bank accounts outside their living country.

I would not consider Fraud. If that is fraud, than I am the biggest fraudster around WHT

Firstly you have to remind that a lot of people use bank accounts from their country of origin.

That is my case. I would never use a Luxembourgish account. Even if they pay me

It is easy to verify this. Just call the person. If the phone does not work but appears to be valid (most likely the phone of that person in the country of origin..(also my case)), try to contact the person by email and sort things out.

Update regarding my recent signup from 2CO:

"The cancellation has been reversed, and the transaction will go through as normal."

Now, I suddenly go to see my statement..and the charge is finally posted.
