grsecurity high security

does anyone got to run grsecurity with high security on a webhosting server without problems?
i run it with medium security with no problems, and i don't see anything on the "additions" to the high security that could break something... but i'm afraid

doesn't have much to do, but i remember when i tried to use medium security on my university PC i didn't got to use /dev/snd

You shouldn't need /dev/snd on a server.

That said. I *pretty much* run GRSecurity at high security since all the sysctl options are enabled. It doesn't break anything on my system... But your milage may vary.

I've been running high security with 2.4.x kernels (with some additional custom settings) on a redhat cPanel (along with rvskins and fantastico) system for 9 months and haven't found a problem with it yet.

But as someone else mentioned, your mileage may vary depending on your specific setup. You should test it well first before submitting your clients to it.

Check your /var/log/messages, grsecurity kills quite a few cpanel related processes. also will break stats on servers. Also can can damage backups.

Then you are not running high you are running custom.
