problems with server load

Hello all.

I'm having problems. I'm on a Dual Xeon 2.6ghz and 2gb memory. I have a costumer that owns a fotolog and his site makes my server load goes to 20.0 sometimes, crashing the services.
Some1 know how can i solve this? i'm thinkking about an extra server for just mysql but i'll have the same problems with this server, right?

Extra server would help. But it sounds more like you need a extra server just for him...

I would try a spare MySQL server first though.
