I've noticed the following entry in the boot log of a server and haven't been able to determine what it is an indication of, or what I should be looking for. Anyone have any ideas?

filelimits: Increasing file system limits succeeded

I think this is just the OS raising its file limits as needed, based on stuff set in limits.conf, but I'm not 100% certain.

I think it's a fairly benign message, assuming the system's not spitting it out constantly.

Thanks for the reply disoft. I only noticed it upgrading a server to the 4.2.29 kernel, but I'll have to go back and see if there were any similar entries before that,

And I certainly check out the limits.conf file too.
