I've worked on some servers at Burst and as far as I can see their network has improved quite a bit.

As some of us like to say.. No news is good news.

Yeah,
They have recently stuck in some new DDOS protection stuff http://www.toplayer.com

So it looks like they are working on improving things

The only thing which I can think of suggesting is check and make sure they have there backup circuits sorted out properly, when we were with them this caused no end of issues.

Has the network improved enough where you can run a game server without suffering packet loss?

According to my graphs, January has been the best month in terms of lack of packetloss and ping spikes.

Just don't ask them to do something complex like adding a reverse DNS entry for an IP, unless you don't mind waiting

I've never experienced delays in reverse DNS request. I haven't even experienced delays relating to major server issues, either, lately. Their support staff has really gone above and beyond the call of duty for our clients recently, and their work is very appreciated on our part

Took them normally 10-15 min to add reverse dns for our servers. So far no issues here. Infact with recent increase in BW , and release of VDS They are improving for sure
