BQ Internet to offer next generation of server backup services
New York, NY, January 15, 2005 - BQ Internet Corp. has upgraded its remote backup systems to support a new level of data protection services. Server operators and system administrators may now back up their data over the internet using multiple transfer methods, including Rsync, FTP, FXP, NFS, and Samba protocols.
Launched on a limited scale in May of 2004, the company's backup service was met with instant success. Using smart synchronization technology, the service allows companies to back up important data over the internet on a daily basis. In the event of data loss, the data is available to be restored to a new server in a timely manner.
BQ Internet will continue to improve its backup offerings in the coming months. Upcoming features include a graphical control panel utility to control the backup and restore process.
