Quick CSV and WHM question


Hi guys

in WHM >> List Account and the option where it says "Fetch CSV"

it returns with alll the accounts on teh server but in the format

blah.com,209.67.111.111,blahcom,,,,,,,,,serv,server,server.com,x2,,25600,,,,serv_25mb,,,,,,,Sat May 29 23:59:54 2004,1085871594

How do i import this data into Excel to make it format properly in the Cells

if i just copy and paste it all appears in a mess and in once cell

i wish to with that csv output by WHM format it niceley in Excel

any ideas?

What I do is:

Select Fetch CSV and then select ALL and Copy everything.

Paste it in a notepad document and save it as "list.txt" or whatever you want with the .txt extension (so it's a text document).

Open Excel and select FILE>OPEN and select the list.txt file and then it will ask you what kind of file type, select DELIMITED and then select "NEXT" and select COMMA as a DELIMITER and uncheck TAB and select and then select "FINISH.

one thing i notice though genereating a CSV via WHM it dont generte email addresses for some reason i havto manually put them in on well!
