I've just upoaded a brand new design for my company's site www.hostingplace.co.uk for the new year. Please let me know what you think and the overall impression it creates of the company - hopefully a good one

Oh I like this, very nice indeed, ok a couple of things - how about changing the word The Servers in the menu to either "Our Servers or Servers", add either "more" text or "info" text bottom right of each package so your visitors can click for more info on the said package straight away, without wondering around the site and getting fed up of where to click, easy access I`m sure people will bring up the empty part of the header to the left, but IMHO it looks right as is, it`s not over baring and looks good, well done and good luck.

This is either a template, or it's a blatent copy. Just take a look at his site, and HostUltra's: www.hostultra.com. They are basically exactly the same.

If it's a template, I hate it when people do this - show us a site and not tell us it's a template so we say that it's good.

If it is a copy, well, I see you were trying to get inspiration, maybe such a blatent copy wasn't the way to go, just try and use little elements of the site's design.

Good find, yes it is a Template and the site you found will is more along the line of the original layout and looks better, the gaps are filled in better than the original poster of this thread, it would of been nice to of known from the outset that it was a template though.

Indeed. I found the exact template as well, it's 2616 from TemplateMonster:

His site seems slightly different with the nav and content slightly changed, but it is the same template, just edited I think.

Yes, Well Done! It's a Template. Surely that's what they are there for though, to be used to design a site with. What's the big problem?

There isn't one. But there isn't really any point in asking for a review of a design, when technically YOU didn't MAKE it.

You should have told us in your first post that it was a template, people always do it, think people won't find out and then everyone'll say their site's really cool...

I was just pointing out that it was a template so that all the other people in the forum could judge it based on what it is - a template.
