Do you run your own blog? Are you using a blog from the various providers which host it for free or you have a specific software installed on your server? Which one do you recommend?

Personally I have just installed b2evolution blog and I am very excited by the functionality provided.

If you have heard rumors regarding any blog software, post them here.

try wordpress.org (free) or movabletype.org

Have been using movabletype for a year or so... 2.x was a good solid script. But I do not like how MT has become so commercialized with the new version release so I will stop using it and will move to another script soon. I guess they did whatever they needed to do.

I've installed WordPress and it looks nice and usability looks good too.

Migration to WP was frighteningly easy

I use Word Press. Its pretty nice.

Greymatter and B2 are pretty good but greymatter is kind of confusing to install.
