Anyone using Uplinks Technogies or Reseller Zoom?

I was just wondering if there is anybody who has has any experience using this host, as I am begining to feel incline to have them as my new host, since my former host, Resiware just dumped me by cancelling my credit card order after about 2-3 months. Thus far the sales side of uplinks has been pretty fast in responding to my queries, max 3hr respones (faster it seems during odd hours). Its good to find that their domain was registered in 2001 and expires in 2005, though I can find info on the .com.sg domain. What is weird though is that their SSL certificate expires in 97 days.

Space is a pretty big issue for me as is having multiple MySQL databases and FTP accounts, and subdomains. Multiple domain hosting is a plus as is having WHM. So while I may intend to be a reseller, most of the time I have to look at such plans to fit my requirements. Speaking of which how's Resellerzoom? My main concern here is that the domain was created in 2004 and expires in 2006.

Why does it matter when a domain expires? It's not like the company shuts down when it expires.. They just renew it.

Well for one thing the duration of domain registration is to a certain degree an indication of how long the host is committed to the business...though I accept that its not the only indicator.

Still...I do hope there are those who can comment on both Uplinks Technologies and ResellerZoom....

Yahoo expires in 2012.. surely it dosn't mean they plan to be out of business by then. I wouldn't recommend taking the domain in consideration when choosing a host.

Well it is a slight consideration since money is involved and you wont want the host's site to suddenly disappear after you paid for example an annual fee. Again its not the only consideration I have.

But then again can anyone comment on how Uplinks Technologies and Reseller Zoom is?

I can only comment on the datacentre for Uplinks Tech, they are at Pacnet if I remember correctly, Pacnet bandwidth is quite good and they just enlarge their datacentre which is also quite new. At Science Park One.

Private label hosting normally you get your own nameservers ns1.yourdomain.com and ns2.yourdomain.com normally reference to the main host is removed as much as possible

Its more probable that I need to hit reseller packages since I intend to host a few domains, and its easier I think to do it using WHM

It would normally be easier using controlpanels like WHM, but Directadmin and Plesk are also a choice depending on what the main host provides.

So far I have not found that many hosts offering DirectAdmin and Plesk that have plans to my liking. I have tried the DA demo and am extremely impressed. Perhaps more host should offer multiple control panels and let customers choose especially if there is gonna be a price difference between the plans due to licensing.

Hmm... so far I am lining up the following as options for hosting
http://www.uplinks.com.sg
http://www.resellerzoom.com
http://www.mxhub.com

User experiences with these would be good

Hmm...I wonder if its just me or am I being fussy wanting RVSkins along with Cpanel

Talked with mxhub pre-sales via their live chat, and the chat was much faster and better than the one I had with hostony. Wonder why uplinks doesnt have anything like that.

Hmm...for DirectAdmin does one still need Fantasico, cause I read that there is Installatron for it. And well can Fantasico being used with DA?

Well I have read most of it already, and am impressed but what I have read about resellerzoom really BUt given my last experience with hosting, I though it would be better if I was just abit more careful, and see if there is anything else that I havent heard.

Hmm...looks like I'm considering 3 types of hosts...

Uplinks: A local host, with a local datacentre
Mxhub: A local host, with a US datacentre (theplanet, ev1)
Resellerzoom: A US host (cant remember which datacentre
