transfer IPSTAG from gone-bust-ISP

I would like to transfer my old .co.uk web site to a new host. I am considering Portland but they want me to contact my old ISP and ask them to transfer the IPSTAG.

My old host, the ISP redhotant.co.uk, has gone bust and are not replying to emails. How can I transfer the site? Preferably for free!

Jason

You need to contact Nominet directly on +44(0)1865 332211 ( www.nic.uk )

Tell them what the story is and ask them to change the IPSTag to the relevant host,

they'll then contact the host asking if its ok to do that....

To be honest though....i wouldnt jump from one free provider to another, you've alreay been burnt once and it doesnt cost much to host a website....

try www.webhostingguide.co.uk for a host....

Cheers,
