What color scheme would you suggest...

What color scheme would you suggest for a site aimed at teenagers (13 - 21) ???

I though light blue and white... but i'm not sure... any ideas?

Depends on the type of site aimed at teenagers.

A site about the hottest teen fashion would be different than a site aimed at the "United Teens for Halo" (UTFO hehe i should start it!).

I would definatley go with something like a little bit of a light blue, subtle green, orange, and white. That would pretty much appeal to all teenagers (im 19 so i still count as a teenager!). Bright colors make me think of something like Nickelodeon (bright blue, and green, and orange popping out in your face) so for teens I would keep it more middle of the road.

Hello,

I would mix in a little green to go with the blue and white.

take a look at mtv.com, abercrombie, etc. google popular brands that are popular for your market. see what successful companies are doing.

Yellow for girls?

How light is the light blue? Light blue and white could be hard on any age's vision. Perhaps you can create some sample sites and post them in the reviews forum for feedack

I would go with a light blue

There's nothing new at the sun, I woud look at similiar types of websites that are not in competition with you and get some inspirtation from there,

ie OldNavy.com uses a light blue and they target that age maybe better than anyone.
