Question

Anyone Hosted with HostRocket that are happy campers ;-)

Well I have READ and READ and READ about HostRocket. I'm not hosting with them yet but I have heard crazy amounts of bad talk about them. But even though I have heard the worst, I would like to give them a chance. If you are hosting with them and are happy and content with the service I would like to hear your feedback and if you could give me your website address to your site that would be awesome. The reason I would like your website addy is to check the loading times. Also if you have a Chat forum (Like Vbulletin) on your site I would love to see it.

There has to be some people on this world wide web we live on that are happy with them. ;-)

The site I have now is www.drawingsociety.com I want to move it to a new host because the one I am on is my friends.

Any help would be great.
Thanks to all
Doug

PS> I don't want to hear any Negative crap about them. I have read and hear about the problem a lot of ppl are having. If you are happy with them.. Please let me hear your story. Thanks

If that is the case...

Why don't you just sign up for their services? I don't understand the point... if the negative feedback hasn't deterred you, then you obviously want to try their services. Don't they offer a money back guarantee? If so, then try them out and see for yourself. Then come back and tell us about your positive experience.

Just a suggestion.

If you have so much doubt about host a, why not just avoid the delima and go with a host b that carry no contradicting reviews? A couple I can think of are venturesonline and futurequest.

ok ok ok..

I didn't mean that the nice little flash movies made me say "Hey they have a great website.. I bet there service is just the same" I just wanted to know if there is anyone on these forums that are hosted with them that are not having a problem. It is really hard finding a host and I have been reading quite abit. These forums have been great.

I'm just checking it all out.

Thanks
DD

Ohh, and avara, the nice little flash movie on the HR site are not what made me think of singing up with them. The look of the site really has nothing to do with it.

shanda: Are you hosting with them now? or did you?

Is http://cprhosting.com/ hosted on them?

Or is that your hosting site?

Thanks.

Well I have heard enough from a lot of threads in these forums about HR...

There are a lot of problems that HR have to work out it seems.

So here is my question that you have heard about a million times...

What HR offers is there anyone else that has a better rep for around the same price? I will pay upto $15 to $20 a month.

Have a good one.

DD,

Site5, WizardsHosting, JaguarPC, and Aletia Hosting have similar plans in your price range. You should be able to dig up feedback about each of them by using the Search button. Good luck!

DD, if you think of giving them a chance, by all means do so.

Just don't come back with thread such as "Help, I need immediate assistance from HR support etc "

Anyway, don't take comments in HR forum seriously. Only the best comments stays.

I've got a site temporarily hosted with them, and haven't really had problems. Service can be on-off during the 2 AM-6AM hours (When I do a lot of coding), but they've been fairly consistent. No big problems.

On an unrelated note, avoid solidload.net. They were great up to a month ago, when they upgraded servers. Now I'm lucky to get 20% uptime. Ick.

If you wanna check the HostRocket hosted site, check http://teengenesis.com/index.php - the php index is necessary - I've got an html file set up as a "coming soon" for the casual observer. It's probably not gonna be of much interest to you unless you're in the Phoenix area, but you can get a feel for their services. Fast servers - I'm doing a TON of PHP and MySQL DB hits, and it's still not choking.

Chris
