You may have to be a tad more specific in what you mean about email clustering...

Are you asking about a setup where, if the primary email server goes down, a backup email server will store the email until the primary machine is online

Or are you asking about a large setup wherein you use some mass storage to network mount directories and have a load balancer send email queries to a free server that will process its request
