Hi,

A client wants to put a small store online and is looking for a cert that mastercard/visa will approve of. Anyone use these and are they good?

We have about 40 or so hosting clients that use the StarterSSL. No one has ever complained about it. It provied 128bit encrpytion. The other use some other type of secure cert.

Also - most gateways will also provide a secure page as well if you require it at no charge.

Anytime - good luck with it. They do recommend it only for the smaller e-commerce sites - why I really do not know; 128 bit encryption is 128 bit encryption.

Yep, this is for a small store that wants to start showing their goods online and perhaps accept orders.
