I'm wondering if they will be able to produce a vaccine to cure the people with HIV. If they are able to cure them we should defiantly have our countries pay for it just like they did with small pox.

I agree.. It would be awesome if they started being able to cure all of these nasty diseases. So many people die over it and I think it would be great just as any other person feels.

I do believe that the countries/government should fund it... (if they arent already) I didnt read the whole thing but skimmed through it.

Sounds like a cure! Probably still years away that's why it didn't make the major news.

Aids is not as easy to catch as it is made out to be.

Go pick up a woman in Africa and see if its hard to contract. I recall the chances of being infected there is 1 in 5. If i'm wrong please correct me.

Also, what about a newborn who is infected?

I didn't say you wouldn't get it but the chance of you getting it decrease significantly. If you engage in anal sex you are 12 times more likely to contract aids then if you don't, which is why the disease infects a much higher rate of gay men.
