Ok, i have 2 servers, i need to transfer files from one to the other. I already have the files bziped and tarred, how can i do this with ssh?? thanks!

You need to have some method of transfer. The easiest way to do this is copy the files to a place where they are http or ftp accesable and then loginto the other server and use the wget command to download it.

Try sftp if you have this installed quick and easy.

You can use SCP to do this, take a look on google for a walkthrough.
