Auto Forum Creation Software

Hi,

Does anybody know if there are any FREE scripts that will automagically setup a forum (e.g. phpBB), validate the email, setup the sub-domain (YOUR-FORUM.mysite.com) etc

I want to provide some free forums (not under hosting plans) and would prefer not to have to roll my own!

Thanks,

Simon

Could you be more specific as to the set-up you require?

Sure solsavvy

I want to set up free forums. I do not want to manually have to do this so I want a script to automate it.

So you could go to my forum site, fill out the registration info. You would automatically get sent an email for verification, once verified the script would set up a new forum with you as administrator - the forum would be hosted on a sub domain.

Does that explain what I am looking for????

Any help is very much appreciated....

Thanks,
Simon

Could you list the forums you'd like to support, and also your server server configuration. eg, control panel etc.

Thanks Rax, but I asked my question for a reason. You quoting the original question/request which I already requested and understand does not help answer my question. Please re-read what I said, then consider your reply.

I was not looking to tie it into a control panel - this would not be for hosting clients.

In answer to your other questions; phpbb was the forum and linux, apache, mysql & php from a techi perspective...

Any thoughts?
Simon

I'll work on something if I have time and release it free here. Sorry, I am afraid I do not know of anything else which could meet your requirements exactly. You may wish to try something like "open installer", which I believe is open source and free.

Thanks for the info... I think what I want is sebflipper's one, but would rather not pay for it if possible - lol!!!

If I can find the time I may even try it myself....(seriously doubt I will get the time though!!)

Thanks

Simon
