DotReg.com.. Any Experience?

I was wondering if anyone here has had experience with DotRegistrar.com's reseller program? We have sent them a few questions but havent recieved a response yet. We also send them some questions a while ago regarding a problem we were having with a certain reseller of theres, and they answered the questions with what seemed to be a pre-created template that didn't have anything to do with the problem at hand. The prices seem good.. but I was wondering if any of you have had any experiences that were better than mine?

Yes, we use DotRegistrar.

I can say two things...they are cheap and support is slow, but they respond .

I just sent another email to sales asking if they recieved my last message all they said was sorry and included information that is already available on there web site (i.e. Domain Pricing, etc. ). I guess I can ask you since you are already a reseller. I will paste the email I sent them:

We are thinking about signing up for your domain reseller program, but have a couple of questions. First of all, as our customers register domain names, will we need to handle credit card payments or does DotReg. handle this for us? If it is handled by DotReg. What name appears on our customers Credit Card bill? Another thing, as we have to purchase domains in bulk, do these purchased domains expire after a certain amount of time if not sold?

We have already signed up as we were given a free 3 domain names by DotReg. However, I can't seem to find any way in which to provide domain registration do our customers via our web site. Is this possible? Is it also possible to give them a control panel in which they can use to control there domains? If so, is this customisable?

Cheers!

They do not do any of the credit card billing. You would have to supply this. We bill the customers and then register their domain.

I personally used cold fusion to develop the registration process. They will give you an API in ASP and Perl, I prefered the ASP one.

They are the cheapest, but it does require some programming. If you're not too experienced with Perl or ASP I would recommend http://www.enom.com/
