I am running cPanel and WHM, when i am logged in as root and i want to add a user, it creates the user fine.

However, it is not possible to get to the users public_html directory through the net. People can log into cPanel with these details, but no one can get to http://mydomain.com/~username or http://username.mydomain.com i am told that the host or service is not reachable.

What could this problem be?

I can access http://mydomain.com but nothing else.
