Looking for fast host with large mysql allowance

Hello.
Could anybody recommend a fast host that allows large mysql databases (>400MB)? I am currently hosting a large forum at ******, however they have been very slow recently and I am looking for another host for the forum (I might keep the ****** acct. because of the generous space they give).

Thanks in advance.

What are your preferences (control panel, OS, etc)?

There are quite few offers in the Hosting Offer forum.

Take a look in the offers forum. I'm sure you will find something good ! Just remember one thing if something sounds to go to be true it is.

I don't really have much preferences, besides the rare php app, I don't run anything complex. All I need is generous bandwith and space, as well as large mysql base ( my site is actually a non-profit history portal that hosts various pages ).

And cheap too, upper limit is about $15-20 a month.

I'll have a look at the offers forums, thanks.

I don't know that a dedicated server is an accurate suggestion.

It really depends on resource usage.

What kind of script is calling the database? Is this just a content management script?

A dedicated server would be a perfect solution for some one with a large forum that does not want to share system resources....

To each is own.

Databases are generally smaller than you would think, when it comes to forums, because the information stored within it, is compact....most of the time.

It really depends on the client's desired space and bandwidth specifications, not so much the database, or what kind of site they'll be running.

It also depends on the server, in a shared environment.
