It's against Google's terms to discuss those.

However as far as alternatives go, I find Google Adsense the best paying. So it's really hard to talk about alternatives because there really isn't one that is as 'rich' in payments.

Anybody know why Google Adsense rejects a website? Our customer operates an education website, yet Google rejected them without a reason. Am bewildered as other similar sites use Google Adsense.

However, it seems like this would be the reasons for rejecting a site from the beginning:

Do not load pages with irrelevant or excessive key words.
Do not employ cloaking or sneaky redirects.
Do not create multiple pages, subdomains, or domains with substantially duplicate content.
Avoid hidden text or hidden links.
Keep the links on a given page to a reasonable number (fewer than 100).
Do not participate in link schemes designed to increase your site's ranking or PageRank. In particular, avoid links to web spammers or "bad neighborhoods" on the web as your website may be affected adversely by those links.

i too have found google to be very good...just a few options to look at though, bidvertiser.com and adbrite.com ...i havent used them, but they are similar in nature to google...maybe this gives you a couple of options...
