Hi,

Firstly apologies to the mods for posting the name of a banned company again. It slipped my mind and was not right to do so.

Now I understand that you may ban a member for spam or whatever but is banning their name also necessary?

For instance if someone would like to know information about this company- perhaps to be warned about them. Surely they should be able to post the name?

What are your views on this?

Banning a company name is usually a standard measure when someone spams, so that spammers don't try to register multiple nicks and spam the same company name.

We usually lift the censors after a certain period of time, but we can forget quite easily (considering our 'filters' list scrolls on and on and on and on....).

If you'd like to post about a banned company but it's still censored, drop us a line and we'll usually lift it. For the really serious offenders, the mods usually confer before deciding on the appropriate action.
