Server4Sale.com (AMAZING!)

Well, so far, in my mind, these guys have been the best provider ever in the case of dedicated servers.

I ordered at 8am last Sunday. I recieved the server at 10am completely ready, setup and in perfect condition. I was also updated throughout that two hours by AIM and e-mail.

Support tickets get answered normally within 10 minutes; it's occasional that it takes more than 20, but never more than 30.

The support is friendly and has a deep understanding of dedicated servers (unlike other companies that focus mainly on web hosting and ignore their dedicated clients).

Downtime? Almost none; the almost was a router hiccup due to a DDOS attack on a server within their main router. Took us down for all of 7 minutes total. They were on it the minute it happened.

Anyone else have any experiences with these guys? I've been with them for a little over a week now and my experience is phenomenal.

-Rick

Good or bad, a week is hardly enough time to give a solid review of any provider.

Post back in about 3 or 4 months how things are going.

Don't judge a host by one week of service. Get back to us in about six months. One week hardly tells the story, unless it's an attempt at some free advertising.

Thumbs up I can say the same and more

Heya Folks,

Well i've been with them since March this year and i can't say anything bad against them - the support is online whenever i need them and if it's not on aim an email will yield a 2 minutes reply, their support is always blazing fast and always know what to do, plus i love their payment processing thingy that lets u deposit money and get your head clean of forgetting to pay.

hmmm bad stuff.. bad stuff.. bad stuff.. well none yet, and that count will hopefully remain that way.

Well i've been with lots of companies and even now i run 2 servers - one which i got from them and one which i got directly from ThePlanet - i would say without a doubt that I enjoy their's more, especially because the kewl supporterz! go ninja go ninja go (okie okie not related but it felt good to say it)

Rick , you're not alone in liking them. I've done business with Munaf of Server4Sale for a long time now. Over two years. Service has been generally brilliant. One of the best things about them is their helpdesk. I've moved away from them to Managed.com ( because of the dirt cheap prices ) and then moved to ServerMatrix, but then I moved back over to Server4Sale.

They have a huge bargaining power over Burstenet, and for the same price you pay to other resellers, you would get more ram, better harddrives, more Cpanel Skins, and an auto installer. Better value for money.

I love their helpdesk. The new helpdesk is brilliant, but the old one is really good too. I've gotten personal assistance from Munaf over AIM. He's fast , curteous and very generous. And if all else fails - not that it has for me ever - there is the BurstHelpdesk. Who , having done business with them - are much better than ServerMatrix techs I've had the fortune of dealing with.

When one of my ServerMatrix servers went nuts - Server4Sale hosted me on a much faster p4 3.0Ht with 1GB ram, for much less price than listed for the lower spec machine ( 512Mb ram ). All because he couldn't deliver a Dual Xeon. When I did get it - it had 1GB of Ram - instead of the 512 as listed in the site. All because nocster ran out of them. You really kind of like a guy - when he goes out of his way to help you out.

The prices are really good - the only bad thing I can think of is the Burstnet occational problem with DDoS. Though that happens rarely - the guys there get to work on it very fast. Munaf is online alot - whenever I need to talk about something.

I'm in a rush at the moment - so I will do a more detailed review maybe in a week

I would suggest if you're looking for managed solutions - at their prices - it's very affordable.

I have worked with Server4Sale for a little over a year now for 2 different servers and I have had a great experience with them. I would say the claims are completely legit. The website doesn't seem to get updated that often, but you normally can catch them on IM or look for their listings here at WHT.

With server4sale I think you get the best of both worlds as you get dirt cheap server prices and great support as well both from burst and server4sale. I had one billing issue when I first got started, but they took care of it with the first email I sent.
Also the first server I received I also found that I got more server than I was entitled--it had a faster processor and larger hard drive, because they had run out of the other.

From my experience in the industry I have found the old adage "fast, reliable, and cheap pick any two" to be pretty much accurate and when I signed up for server4sale I was looking for a cheap server and was willing to sacrifice one of the other 2 if I had to, but I have been pleasantly surprise that so far I have got all three.

Well, ImZan stated he has used their service for over two years, but the domain wasn't even registered for that long :/

Before they registered the Server4Sale domain name, Munaf was advertising using the domain/email from a company where he is the technical director. That domain was registered in 1998. I've been to the BurstNET datacenter, and can confirm that Server4Sale has a large number of servers deployed there. I've heard praise for Server4Sale from their clients and from BurstNET employees.

As a BurstNet employee, it would be inappropriate for me to comment on the "good" or "bad" of any of our resellers/webhosts. However, I would like to clarify that the owners of server4sale have been with us for quite some time (well before 7/29/03) and that they have quite a few servers.

"Quite a few" is an understatement in their case, but as a BurstNET employee, I know you can't really give out that information.
