Webhost with specific php.ini settings

Hi,

I've been emailing quite a few webhosts but none of them my could fit these specific requirements. I'm looking for any webhost who has these settings for their php.ini (or are willing to make them):

upload_max_filesize = 15M

max_execution_time = 2400

Basically put, my team needs a way of sharing relatively large (6mb - 14 mb) files. Right now, I've told them to zip their files and split them up into 2mb parts and use the upload script I've made. Although its a working solution, file management has become problematic. Therefore, I'd be really happy if anyone could point me to a webhost who could do this.

- Faruque

I doubt you'll have a problem with upload_max_filesize. We set it to 128mb on some servers and many hosts will go well over the default. Execution time on the other hand will almost certainly be a problem. 40 minutes is a VERY long time.

Keep in mind if a host is NOT using php safe mode, max_execution_time can be overriden within a script using set_time_limit. I can't point you to a host, but any host who doesn't use php safe mode MAY (again: 40 minutes is way too long) be able to help you.

Thanks about the set_time_limit thing. 40 minutes is because some members of my team have dial-up access only, and it would take 40 minutes on some files.

Why not give them ftp logins instead? Uploading for that long through a browser is a pain.

I completely have to agree with that statement. HTTP wasn't made for uploading files. That's what FTP is for.

I tried that also, apparently ftp is blocked by the network router and the network administrator refuses to change the settings.
