Powweb do have a very large community of mostly happy customers.
They have recently began upgrading their server system from a standard setup to a clustered (better) one.

(in these sort of diagrams, why is it always the trend to use a desktop p.c to represent the standard server setup?? rackspace's "system" do it to)

Thanks, I've decided to not look at this place because I've read that they use mySQL 4 which has a problem corrupting databases. Thats bad since the site I was looking at moving was VBulletin based forum site.

Read where? have you actually contacted Powweb and asked them?
The first thing you should do before coming here is contact the host and ask them specific questions about what you are looking for.
Also, read the posts on Powweb CAREFULLY (or any host for that matter) as WHT tends to get a disapportionate number of negative reviews vs positive ones. Happy customers normally do not post and when they do are often viewed as shills for the host, which is understandable I suppose. Happy clients rarely take the time to praise their host, but unhappy ones reveal it in complaining. Human nature.
