Domain Names?

I'm sure I'll get told this is in the wrong forum, but as resellers I'm interested in where you register your domain names and people's experiences.

I am trying to find a cheap reliable and easily transferable supplier to get all my web development customer's domains from. Initially I don't want to be stuck into having to buy hundreds and I would like if possible to be able to get my .com's .net's etc. from the same place as my .co.uk's.

Can anyone recommend a good source?

Thanks!

It was in the wrong forum. The reseller forum is really just for discussing hosting reselling, this one for anything related to domain name reselling/buying, etc., and it doesn't really matter whether you're a reseller or not.

Edit : thread already moved, so my first sentence was redundant

The first company that usually gets mentioned is OpenSRS(.com). If you're looking to resell domains they seem to be one of the better ways to go. Their only requirement is to always buy a minimum $250 in domain years (25 domains @ $10 each).

Of their resellers, the one who seems to be mentioned the most is 000domains(.com) - due mainly to their good quick service and support.

Hope thats a help to get you started anyway

you could also check out godaddy.com if you want cheap...
I have a couple of domains with them and they are ok.........

other good programs if you want to sell through your site
ir.dotster.com
inchaos.com

but if you can afford the upfront deposit, go with openSRS

I use Enom and Love it.

Enom.com is the tops when it comes to registrars in my opinion. I have a couple hundred names there. After touring about 4 other registrars, I used 4 all together in 3 years, Enom is the one that is still getting my money everyday.

I deal entirely in expired domain names, web promotion and affiliate marketing. Domain Names are my life blood. My registrar is my heart, and my hosting company is the viens that carry my names across the net. I use CrazyHostGuy.com for hosting, they have over 200 of my names hosted.

Two places that make my operation tick, Enom.com and CrazyHostGuy.com. Without them, I would be a struggling wanderer looking for a place to stay.

Whatever you do, be careful when you choose. One wrong move in either area can heartbreaking.

Regards,
Dana M.
