Delete?


I am using cute ftp and when I try to delete certain files it wont allow even though I have chmod 777.

They are generally php files - it just refuses to delete.

Anyone any ideas?

Check the ownership. That'll usually be the cause.

the file is probably not owned by you , if u look it probably isnt even letting you chmod the file either. try logging in with the account u originally uploaded the files with
