Need Host [Tried Interland, Burlee, Datapeer]

Hi, I currently work for a company that hosts a majority of their sites with HostPro, which is now Interland. Ever since the switch service has declined and we have been searching for a new hosting vendor. We have tested Burlee, but there are to many negatives to switch to them, and I personally use DataPeer but am not sure I could recommend them to all of our clients because they are a bit slow responding.

First off, does anyone have any recommendations? We will need ASP and have well over 30 client sites that will need to be moved. We probably host over 80 sites (redirects, etc) and will need to replace some dedicated machines as well. We defiently want quality support, but the little things like a control panel, etc are important as well.

Secondly, has anyone had any experience hosting more then just a few site with DataPeer? I wonder how well they would do with a larger client like us?

I'm not looking for the Holy Grail here, just some more input.

Thanks,

Dennis Jenders

Hi,

Well, if it is just 30 client sites, and not one big huge monster of a site, then I think DataPeer could handle it fine. You can search on the forum for some info about there reputation, there is quite a bit of information. As for looking for a host that can support what you need, I think alot of them can, If I am understanding you right that it is just 30 or so regular sites, and not one big huge one consuming a bunch of resources and bandwidth.

I have been looking after 15 domains for a friend of mine. Service is great, fast and professional. Tickets are answered fast, very good company to deal with

We do have some huge sites, but probably less then 10. THe bigger sites that require more are on dedicated servers. I didn't see to much on DataPeer when I did a search, only about 6 threads.

The big thing is we really need to be flexible and have a host that can meet all of our current needs and maybe accomodate more in the future.

I guess we want a Interland size company that is BETTER!

Dennis.
