Outlook emails dated wrong

Hey guys,

My Outlook has decided to start showing the incorrect date/timestamp.

First thing I did was check the server to see if date/time was incorrect. I ran rdate and found that it was right on both time and timezone.

So I checked my PC and found that it is set to the correct timezone as well as the correct time.

BUT, my emails are still arriving with the wrong date/timestamp.

Anyone else had this problem before, and a resolution?

Thanks.

I have ran into this many times. Not sure if this will help you or not. But go into your time settings, Time Zone and make sure the bottom option is checked. If not, this might fix it.

Hope this helps.

I double check the timezone settings and they appear to be right. The email I just got with regards to this message, was dated today at 5:23AM

The time it arrive was 4:23PM

13 hours behind.

Whats the time on the email server? Make sure the time is correct on the server or all emails will have the wrong time.

Just for giggles, chage your timezone on your workstation to something different, than see if your time is still 13 hours behind. Let me know what happened.

So I changed my time setting to various different time zones, and I noticed that my Outlook email times changed with it.

However, it would not match Outlook to my system time no matter what I did.

Darn weird.
