OS Hardening
Hello, What are the steps involved with hardening linux(unix) and windows? Where can I get an idea on how to harden my OS for my dedicated servers? Also where can I get an idea on hardening control panels (cPanel / Helm)? Thanks!

There are a lot to learn up with OS hardening, might want to hire a company to do one off job or proactive monitoring.
rack911.com could be a good choice.

Im not intrested in someone else doing it, defeats the point of trying to learn how to do it.

Amazon and Google are your friends. You may also want to check out some of the popular security portals like SecurityFocus, SNAS, etc.
Its a complicated science (from what I have been told). Takes a while to get the hang of it.
