Spam Assassin and Spam Box and how it works?

Hey guys/gals, could someone run me through Spam Assassin and Spam Box and how it works?
I have both of them enabled, but I want all the spam to either go into a black hole or to another box that I can check once in a while to make sure everything really was/is spam. Also, is there something that should be done in WHM....other than enable it?

Should I just set up a pop3 box labeled spam and all of the spam forwards to it?

This is from the cPanel instruction:
If you wish to use pop3 to check the spam box, just add "/spam" (without the quotes) to the end of your pop3 login. (Example: joe@i.com/spam)

This seems pretty simple, but my brain isn’t working up to full capacity today.

Thanks!

spambox..basically means that cpanel creates a exim filter that sends your spam into an inbox called "spambox"

The inbox is a IMAP folder so you can check it via IMAP.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I get these is my pop3 mailbox though, here's an example:

Spam detection software, running on the system "venus.innerplanet.com", has
identified this incoming email as possible spam. The original message has been attached to this so you can view it (if it isn't spam) or block similar future email. If you have any questions, see the administrator of that system for details.

I know this is simple, but how do I prevent them from going to my Outlook like every other email?

Thanks
