These cockroaches are quickly making referral logs and stat pages meaningless. The worst offender is Burnham Internet Sales, with a menagerie of sub-sites such as netserver.tv, oversupply.*, surplusauction.*, a variety of skin-care and cosmetics lines, etc. etc. So far this one company has spammed by site 3000 times in two weeks. I tried creating an .htaccess file to block them out, and it worked--but then they detected my block and somehow hacked a way around it, within 24 hours of the block being placed.

Is anyone else being spammed by these scumwads?

What can be done about them and insects like them? What can be done to protect honest sites from referral spam (a.k.a. referrer spam) so the stats will actually reflect who is really visiting the site?
