I had a feeling this was gonna be a samsung landslide. Does any one have any specific models I should look at? It has to have Digital and Analog inputs. This is one I had in mind: http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/prodde...ewdeptid=20367
Thanks

My wife uses an NEC 'Multisynch LCD'. Very nice color quality. I still prefer CRT's myself.

I have a 17" Planar, My brother has two of them, and his friend also has two of them. They are very nice monitors, very nice. I don't have a single compliant, and evidently they are supposed to be one of the best for gaming.

All I can say is Medion.
I've only used Medion and BenQ LCD screens, and Medion is by far the better one. I've never tried Samsung, however don't plan on trying one out anytime soon.
I've a Medion laptop which uses a Medion LCD screen, also have another Medion LCD screen and am about to get a Medion CRT in fact. You cannot go wrong with Medion - They do not cost a lot, however the quality is by far the best I've seen for the price [Even better than some other makes which you pay a lot more for].
Go for a Medion, you won't regret it.

I have an NEC MultiSync LCD 1760NX, which is a 17"; 16ms response time, high contrast ratio and it's just great. Had it for a few years now, never had any problems, even playing games.

I've used some viewsonics and they were pretty good, however.

I bought well over a dozen different brands of LCD monitors and kept returning them all until I bought this samsung syncmaster LCD monitor.
Samsung was by FAR the best LCD.

Indeed - Samsung by a long shot. The Dell branded LCD's used to be samsungs, they may still be. It was a great way to save some money.

Last time I had dell LCDs they were terrible. Not nearly as clear or sharp as my samsung. I couldn't stand looking at the dells after using my samsung otherwise I probably wouldn't have noticed as much.

I am very happy with my 3 Envision 19" LCDs. I'm kind of rough on my equipment because I have some teens who help me in the afternoon. These monitors were dropped on the floor when I moved, are repeatedly coated with soda spray, and the screens are touched way too much. But, to date, not one lost pixel!

I can honestly say it's the best monitor I've ever owned, and the 90 degrees rotation is pretty cool tooJon

My father also just recently bought a 17" samsung... after using my 19" he got jealous!
And he is a penny pinching accountant.. haha. He bought some off brand because it had a mail-in rebate. I made him return it and spend an extra $20 for the samsung model.
