Hi guys,

I have kind of made my mind up to go ahead with direct admin rather than H-Sphere or Cpanel ... etc

2 Questions ...

A) Is DA based on a single server setup? Can you add (link) physical servers like H-Sphere as your business grows? or do you have to setup a second DA server from the scratch?

B) WHAT IS THE BEST BILLING SYSTEM TO USE WITH DA?


For instance i know majority of people use "WHM Autopilot" or "Modern bill" as a billing automation solution...

Is there any special billing automation software developed specifically for Direct Admin? what do you guys use yourselves with Direct Admin?

C) Also I like to know what exactly happens when a user reach their quota limit? e.g would his/her site go down and E-mails will get bounced back to the sender, indicating that user is running out of space?

Or will the site remain on line & only E-mails get suspended ?

WHMAutopilot is for cpanel only.

Drams/Drams Plus, ModernBill and Whoiscart work with Directadmin. I would suggest Modernbill 4.2 although the other two are good also. Check them out and see which suits your needs best.

I would recommend that you use ModernBill as it is the best solution if your interstered in Billing.

WHM AutoPilot v3.0 should be very nice when it is completed and hits the markets.

I understand that its almost impossible to expand the number of the physical server with Direct Admin and basically the only way to expand would be to setup a second server from the scratch as a seperate standalone server ... and install direct admin on ... etc etc ...


My question is:

If I was using "Modern bill" ... how am i gonna go about adding the second Direct Admin server to it? ...

Is it possible at all? OR Do i have to buy another copy of "modern bill" for the new server and install it as a fresh copy of the second server?


Is "Modern Bill" capable of handling more than 2 stand alone Direct admin servers? (in terms of automation and accounts and all that?)


Not sure if I am making myself clear... basically say if you have 3 stand alone Direct Admin servers ... is there anyway to have 1 copy of "Modern Bill" to hand them all and also enable you to add more server to it for future upgrades or is it like:


1 copy of "Modern bill" can only be used toward only 1 (Direct Admin Server) ?
