I think they did great, but I have to vote for Edwards seeing how Cheney didn't rebuttle some of the arguements.

It was definitely alot different than the presidential debate.

I still think that Edwards had more to gain (and gained more) than Dick Cheney. But its much tougher to say who won especially considering that there are no objective standards.

Funny thing is that Edwards seemed more clear, on the message and more direct than cheney. Frankly, Cheney was more boring.

Cheney, easily. He was clear, authorative and told his feelings. You can debate substance all day long, but the style points here clearly went to Cheney.

Cheney was the better debater of the two... always came back strong. Could easily dismantle his opponents charges against him with a mere ensemble of facts.

I voted John Edwards because cheney stated some things that were opinons, but made them out to resemble facts.

Kerry - each party obviousley has opinions, and obviousley there are facts. I mainly remember Cheney making out statistics and actions to be facts... but can you give me some examples of "opinions"?

John Edwards. He was able to state his party's view on gay rights/marriage while Cheney was unable to since he has different views from Bush. Also, whenever Haliburton was brought up by Edwards, Cheney never refuted the claims. Hmmm... They must be true then!

Well, according the cnn poll, cbs poll, and yahoo poll I just saw, edwards seems to be winning from a 2:1 through 4:1 margins.

I didnt think it was THAT clear cut though. Guess some people really liked him.

same goes for msnbc it seems (Edwards at 68 percent).

I found this debate rather borring. They talked too much about Iraq. Not enough about domestic issues.
