Which Enterprise LINUX OS?


WHICH OS

Novell Suse Linux Enterprise 9
RedHat Enterprise AS 3


----------------------------------------

To run on the following equipment:

IBM X370 Server
16GB RAM
8 x Xeon 900/2MB cache
12 x 146GB 10K Ultra320 Seagate
IBM ServeRAID 4 Cache RAID Controller

For the following purpose:

VPS Host Server



I am open to suggestions..

Windows isn't a "LINUX" OS..

That said, I like RHEL, and haven't had any problems with it.

I posted Windows as a joke guys And FYI I voted for Windows, so thankfully NONE of us would have really put W2003 on that box...!

I would go with CentOS which is based directly on RHES. Windows 2003 is not a bad operating system, infact it handles extremely well in my experience, not to be confused with IIS problems and continous reboots associated with NT4.
