Whats the best billing software our of your opinion/usage.

It has to include:
1. Taxes based on state
2. Automatic account creation for cpanel/directadmin


Out of the options:
whmautopilot
clientexec
whoiscart
lpanel (still around?)
modernbill
etc.

Out of whmautopilot, clientexec, whoiscart & modernbill I found clientexec to better suit my needs. I Use with DA. Modernbill seemed to clunky (if thats a word) to me and had so many options I got lost. The other two just didnt "Have it" like CE does imo.

whmautopilot is probably the best in the bunch

whmap and clientexec are both very good. MB is complicated If you don't know what you're doing.

it's very good software, easy to use and to skin. great price also.
support is unbeatable.

I personally use ModernBill and i find its brilliant as it integrates nicely with worldpay/futurepay/worldalert etc. It is complicated to get setup but once you do you will find its very flexible in what it allowes you to do.

Id you dont want the hassle of setting up MB, go with somehting like clientexec. However MB will probably give you greater flexibility in the long run, its just taking the time to learn the damn thing

I think PHP Invoice should be included in this opinion.
