dont have this customer with your hosting
Hello, just a quick warning to be wary of sano.k AT comcast.net
He signed up with my hosting and service was ok, he wanted to cancel fair enough, ive told him to get the money back he needs to fill in the 30 day cancel form.
This is part of our terms and he simply refuses. I may be a little mean by not doing this but we need a form for each 30day cancellation for our records. If he cant do that then god help him.
He says to watch out and threatened me, he hasnt said what hes going to do but he says he will, more than likely post bad comments which is so unfair.
Am i asking too much for this guy to follow the rules?
The url he signed up with is kavacafe.com

This sounds fair enough to me. However the customer is always right. Don't you have his personal information all ready?

Yes i have all his details, according to our TOS though we need this 30day from filling in. It helps us out just incase he says otherwise so that we have a record of it.
All i asked was for him to do this but he refused.

Hi collings
Do not worry over this you are right in asking the customer to follow company rules, and it is in the customer interest to abide by them if He/She does not fill in the 30 day cancel form, then He/she does not get a Refund.

The customer is NOT always right, if you really believe this, you are the president of fantasy land!
If the web host has a stated policy that you need to fill out in order to cancel, then so be it. If the customer refuses, that is there choice and they forfeit their refund.

If he is entitled to a refund you should just give it to him whether or not he completes your refund form so you can be done with him and avoid the headache.

Exactly. Life's already a bitch, why add more headache?

I need the 30day forms filled out becuase i am taking no chances of a customer saying something that didnt happen.
It may be a bit of a hedache now but you have to stick to the TOS. I'd love to sign up for a dedicated and demand a refund later saying i didnt read the TOS.
Im not saying this is whats happended, but just an example of not reading TOS.

Who reads the tos?
Sometimes it is better to bend and gain goodwill than it is to remain rigid and lose all respect.
Seems everyone agrees with you that the customer should have read the terms. Seems everyone agrees that the customer should fill out the form. I'm sure everyone agrees, including you, that the customer deserves a refund.
You know who he is. You know he deserves a refund. Refund him.

no matter what you sign up for you should read TOS. Even if its 50 pages long, lol
But, i dont want to get into a heated discussion once again, you'll win with that many posts
i appreciate your comments and simply want to do everything by the book so that there is no fall back.

I think that if you have in your TOS that to cancel and get your refund that you have to fill the form out. Then fill the form out.

Put yourself in the customer's shoes. What if it were you on the other side of the story.
Come on.... did you read all the TOS everytime you're installing software into your computer? did you read the TOS everytime you're opening account? be it email account, bank account, membership account, or whatever account it is. Did you ALWAYS read the TOS?

lol, if i were in the customers shoes i would simply fill in the form.
I do read all terms and condiditons for eberything, obviously with big companies like microsoft and alike, you can skip a little, but with small companies like mine, every letter should be read.
