ModernBill and Kayako

How do ModernBill and Kayako eSupport work together?
Is there a special way to do it so that they are actually integrated together?
Or are people just saying that they work good together?

Thanks!

-Chris

Kayako easily integrates with Modernbill, there is documentation available at both sites to show you how to do it. Kayako comes with a special folder that contains files you have to place in a spot in your modernbill install, after youd o that it's automatically integrated. The only downfall is kayako's admin interface is not integrated with modernbill, only the end user interface, so you will have an admin control panel for kayako and still have to login to modernbill for the rest of the stuff..

I hope this makes sense for you. I use this exact setup and love it.

I wish it was possible to either turn of the "support" links in modernbill or have the ability to integrate other helpdesk software...

(ie: other than manually editing the template files...)

That isn't ModernBill's fault. Varun at Kayako built the integration for ModernBill for Kayako.

There are some people who have created integration for others if you look in MB's forums.

What I meant was that it would be nice to "shut off" the entire "support system" that is built into modernbill.

ie: When user clicks "support" tab it goes to a link that is specified by admin.

I think you might be able to do this if you edit the actual skin? I may be wrong about this but I believe it would work.

Yes, however I do not wish to be forced into editing the skin every time a new update comes, etc... I'd rather leave it as default.

ModernBill simply needs to create a way to "turn off" their internal support system and instead just put an admin-specified link for the support tab.

It isn't rocket science and really shouldn't be hard. There's a bazillion other options/features.. I'm surprised they don't already have this.

Do you think ModernBill would be a good choice for a company that runs mainly Counter-Strike Game Servers? Or would WHMAP be a better choice?
