Vizhost.com , NorthWindwebhost.com disappeared! What to DO???

Well its been about 3days now since 'Vizhost.com' they where 'Northwindwebhost.com' before they changed there name to Vizhost. Well I have no idea what I can do, they have had alot of issues with sites going down or what ever, and I can not have all my sites be down like that! It would be easy for me to just move to a new host but I registerd all my domains with them, and I can not get into the DNS to change the address to my new host. Has anyone had this problem before? What can I do to get a hold of my domain dns...

There are many threads in that forum that suggest people not to register their domains with a webhost.

Well, the actual registrar of your domain(s) is ENOM, INC. I would suggest contacting the folks at http://www.enom.com/ and explaining the situation, maybe even linking them to this thread for further proof. Hopefully they will be able to transfer ownership over to you, it would be the rational thing to do.

Yah I have been with them for some time also, and never had any of this problems. The last owner was really nice and if I emailed him at 3am he would respond withing a few min, great support. I will keep with them right now and hopefully nothing like this happens again. The only thing that I was worry about was my domains, Im about to switch all my domains to a diffrent company and keep them all together. So we will see how that goes.

Having full and independant control over your domains is a must.
