i have got my account auto suspended by my host because they claimed that my website is using 90% of the CPU resource.
It has slightly more than 100 users logged in at a time. I am puzzled because recently they had a server upgrade and before the upgrade, my website is running fine. Now in less than a month, my account was suspended twice!
Am I able to request proof or log or something? Could this be the work of some hackers?

The thing you never mentioned was their server specs.
You also never mentioned your host's name, etc.

well it really would lol.
I mean if you chose a host that charges you $1.99/yr for 500GB of bandwidth, and their server is a 600MHz Celeron processor, 600GB transfer, with a 10GB HD, then yeah.....you're gonna use A LOT of their resources.
This is why this info is helpful.

that's a fair price. It borders "cheap for the specs" but doesn't really cross it.
So the package looks decent. But you would really need to know the REAL server specs, to know if their server was low on specs, which caused the issue.
In the meantime, are you running any particular scripts on your site?

20gb of bw is ridiculously high for 6.99!
thats like a reseller account!
must be some serious overselling going on here

Have you asked this question to host? They can answer (if they do) this better than anyone else here.
It's entirely possible that your site, even with 20G bw, can put such a high load on the server. Even a dual cpu with 2G ram can be brought down to its knees with busy sites like yours.
I'm glad you didn't mention your host's name. I didn't need to know the name of your host to answer your question. It's completely irrelevant, in my opinion.
20G bw for 6.99 IS too cheap. (in my opinion!)
Talk to your host first!
