Problem with domain name!

ok last year around august i bought a domain name from some hosting company!
everything was working fine!
but their prices are to much for me so i wanted to change for something cheaper!

the problem is they renewed my domainname for another year but the hosting is down!

i called them, i e-mailed them... still nothing! i asked them to put my hosting back
but nothing!!!

what should i do?

the domain they registerd it with joker.com, and it have my contact info details! but i can't change anything!

is there anyway i can put my hands back on my domainname and change the hosting? atleast put it somehwere where it works?

Sorry this happened to you.

If the hosting company renewed the domain within the last sixty days then you cannot transfer the domain name yet, even if you are listed as the legal registrant.

Is the domain name in your name? Is it ACTIVE or LOCKED?

When you called the hosting company, what did they say? Did you actually talk to someone?

they didnt unlock it but they registerd it instaid!!!

they never answer

I'm not understanding you here.

If you run a whois at www.whois.sc are you or the hosting company the REGISTRANT and the ADMINISTRATIVE contacts?

In the listings their on the whois report, it has a category called STATUS. This is usually either ACTIVE or REGISTRAR-LOCK. You mean to say that it is called PRODUCTION? I've never seen that.

Also, did the hosting company charge your credit card, if so you can threaten a charge back if they refuse to respond to you within a reasonable amount of time.

Well, apparently, status: PRODUCTION is sometimes used to mean ACTIVE according to this thread: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showth...tus+production

the only people who can help you is the reseller of joker ot joker themselves.

if they renewed the domain for you and waiting for you to pay, then pay them and transfer away after 60 days of renewal date (icann rules)
