New Resident Evil movie..

I want to see it that is for sure.

"In the original RESIDENT EVIL movie, a team of agents are trapped in a research facility populated by scientists-turned-zombies due to the release of the virus they were developing. Only two survived and while one is morphing into a genetic monster, the other, Alice, has been sent to a second research facility in Raccoon City, where she is awakened to a ravaged and dead city.

The adventure continues in RESIDENT EVIL: Apocalypse. Since her capture Alice has been genetically altered and becomes endowed with super human strengths. She teams up with a new set of agents dedicated to bringing down the Umbrella Corporation's zombie-creations and save humanity from becoming a world of the undead. "

I think it looks like it has one hell of a story line. Not being a fan of Sci-Fi movies... I think it'll be great!

Best,

It does look good. I bought the DVD of the first one and have watched it a dozen times. My wife tells me I *am* taking her to the movies to see part 2. I knew there was a reason I married her

I am a big Resident Evil gaming fan and I must say that I wouldn't miss this for the world. However, if you're really into the game you will notice that the 1st movie didn't even follow the storyline of the games. It skipped lots of stuff which made me frown upon it. In the 1st movie they basically had small brief parts of the games 1 and 2. Now in the 2nd movie I guess they're going to do the same but, start off with 3. In the game, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, there's this big creature and well if you saw the 1st movie, the fake cop gets put into the Nemesis program.

For those that want more information about the 2nd movie, here ya go.

I wasn't expecting much from the first movie, but it turned out to be very good. I consider it one of the sleeper titles of that season. It didn't get the attention it deserved. If you missed it in the theatre then I definitely recommend getting it on DVD. You don't have to be a fan of the games to enjoy it. Any Science Fiction / Horror fan should have a fun ride with it.

EDIT: So... yes I'm looking forward to the 2nd one.

They filmed a lot of it in Toronto. They did a lot of it right near my job and it looks pretty cool. I actually saw Mila Jonovich (sp?) and the Nemesis Character in person. It's going to be seriously cool.

I know the Tyrant would of been cool to have in the first Resident Evil. I think the reason why they excluded creatures like Hunters, Neptune, etc is due to the fact it would be impossible to take these creatures down with the ammo they had. I found this one has Jill Valentine and follows more to RE2. The licker was pretty good although I wish it would do some of the things it described in the game like it pirecing your torso, ripping your head off, etc.
