Completely satisfied with Sprintserve

Hello all, i admin the site dpgr.gr for 2 years now and i have experience with 3 hosting companies so far.

Valuehost was so and so, but we werent very happy with the speed of the site and the uptime.

Hostabox were the worst of all and i think they dont even exist any more! The support was mediocre and they didnt kept backups as they was advertising. We got hacked and lost thousands of pictures due to this. Fortunately i have downloaded the code localy so we were able to restore the site.

We are with sprintserve from the winter of 2004 and we are absolutely satisfied. They reply to emails within one day the worst and usually within minutes! They are always helpful and kind even with matters that arent their responsibility (for example installing a software package). We are in a semi dedicated server and the speed is fantastic. We also had very little downtime, almost always up! On a crash of the hdd they proved they were keeping backups and we lost only 12 hours of data (messages from the forum).

The only draback is they are somewhat expensive but you get what you pay for. Before we go to hostabox they have setup a test account for us for free but we thought we shouldnt go with them because of the cost. How wrong we were. I am glad that we finally settled with this hosting company.

Check them out here :

--- Hmm the system doesnt allow me to post a link because i dont have 5 messages. At least i am glad i had copy/pasted the message and didnt have to write again from scratch! ---

and dont be fooled by the teenager look of the site, they are totaly professional!

Ps. Sorry for my bad english.

They are a big help here at WHT forum too.
Good for you!

I think you meant Winter 2003, Alex or if you have a time machine to share, we will give you a discount

(Thanks Alex for pointing this thread out earlier today to us, else we didn't notice it)

I've been in recent talks with them about setting up a number of accounts - e-mails responses have been extremely quick.
