Call from a Competitor @_@ CI Host

Just found this kind of funny, and odd, that a direct Competitor, would just call me. This person who called me from CI Host, Could barely speak english.
Took about 10 minutes to figure out what he was trying to sell me. The first 5 minutes were me saying I am not interested in doing business with you.

I believe, with his accent, it sounded like he wanted me to either resell their Dedicated Servers, and try to get me to purchase their E-Business in a box @_@

After trying to get my email address out of me, which, if he had my phone number (which is listed 1 inch above my email address on my site) then he would not have to keep asking for it, and I wouldnt have to keep wasting my time saying, No, I'm not interested.

If their going to phone people, they could at least have reps on the phone who speak english, I believe his accent was Indian, and honestly, could barely understand a word he was saying.

I have actually on occasion asked one of my siblings who works with an indian woman at work to translate for me when I had to get service on my laptop from HP.

However, even if you can't understand them: Be nice.. They are working hard to try to serve you.

Dude. Before talking crap about others just think twice. People who use words like obligated (which is not english) and tweny (for twenty) cannot talk about other people. It is shameful to talk crap about others when there is so much of it on your face. First see whether you have your spelling correct in your website and then talk about others.

I don't like to talk like this about others but this Neil guy is terrible.

I am sorry I offended you. I was using humor to make a point. If it came across as talking crap, that is your personal standing.

I deeply respect all people who work for technical support firms; I was just pointing out that sometimes it is hard to understand what people say over the phone. If you think I am bad in this regard, you are far mistaken. Granted, my spelling is not impeccable when I am in a hurry, but it is completely understandable. This is the first time that the errors on my website have been brought to my attention, and I will fix them later today.

With all this said, I will have a moderator remove the first line of my post, seeing as how it has offended you.

Edit: Also, I should mention that obligated is a word in the english language. http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=obligated

Sorry. I have got this wrong. I do understand that the frustration you guys have. Even I live in US and I get frustrated with the way some of the Indian Techs behave. I would attribute this to the company rather than the techs. It is the responsibility of the companies (the one in US and the company it is dealing with in India) to employ people who can talk properly. There are terrible people everywhere. It is the responsibility of the companies to employ the good ones.

I am sorry that I overreacted. I thought you are one of those stupid people who think they are the only ones who make up the world.

Auctually, I have a tape recorder on my phone, just incase I ever get harassing calls (Problem last year with a "Hacker" (ahem, script kiddie) who was thretning me). Would have taped it for ya, but I was out of office, down at the local Cogent CO, and had my main phone forwarded to my cell.

Oh well, can only hope for a next time
